Meet the Halperins
Prior to moving to Allentown, Rabbi Halperin grew up in Jerusalem and was there inspired to pursue studies in Jewish thought and practice. He continued on at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, NJ, where he received his rabbinical ordination. Rabbi Halperin is an insightful and thoughtful spiritual guide, whose words possess a unique ability to resonate individually. With a calm demeanor, boundless optimism, and genuine humility, he works to fulfill Chabad's mission to illuminate the Lehigh Valley (and the world) with Jewish life for every Jew.
Devorah Halperin was born and raised in Morristown, NJ and as a devoted mother of seven and grandmother of one, plays a pivotal role in directing Chabad Lubavitch of the Lehigh Valley alongside her husband, Rabbi Halperin. Their impactful leadership extends to overseeing the Chabad Hebrew School, Chabad Gan Yeladim Preschool, Camp Gan Israel, Friendship Circle, C-teen, Women's classes, and organizing vibrant holiday events that bring joy and connection to so many. She also has exquisite taste which shines through all the events at Chabad she plans.
