About us

SOS is designed to enable seniors to develop intimate on-going relationships with volunteers. It aims to meet the needs of the seniors within our community by connecting them with willing and capable volunteers. The time spent with the seniors will be utilized to its utmost so that they are able to benefit from and enjoy it as much as possible.

As a branch of the Friendship Circle, the Smile on Seniors Program aims to bring exclusive programming geared to our large Senior Community. Additionally, Smile on Seniorss offers volunteers who visit with homebound or lonely Seniors in their homes, in assisted-living facilities as well as in area hospitals. Their mission is  bring joy and encouragement to the recipients. We  provide monthly events that promote social interaction and will feature exciting activities for Seniors. Our hope is to ultimately match up every Senior in need with a volunteer. Smile On Seniors is dedicated to providing an open door environment for strengthening and enhancing Jewish values and identity to all people, regardless of background, color, philosophy or level of commitment.
